Internships and Job
The Communications Department maintains a website with internships and job opportunities for Communications students. Known as “Coms Opps,” it also includes information on how to do an internship—including all the necessary forms.
Check it out here.
Computers and Editing suites
Aside from the production class editing labs, there are several places on campus that offer computers equipped with editing software.
ASFA has a iMac loaded with Adobe CC, Final Cut Pro X, and Logic Pro X. For more information, and to book a time, visit their website.
The Library Technology Sandbox also has editing workstations (as well as a ton of other incredible equipment!) that are available to students. You can find more information about them here.
The best place to borrow production equipment is always the CJ Depot. They have a wide range high-end gear available to all students in production classes. Click here for info on the depot.
If you aren’t in a production class, or if you need equipment outside of Depot hours, CUTV also lends out equipment to Concordia students. For more info, and a list of equipment, visit their website.
